Let it heat for 15 minutes on high2. Spray a 1.5" x 1.5" length of hair with "flexible but strong hold" hairspray3. Curl to a count 20I have shoulder length, long layered hair - This "s wave" hairstyle took 40 minutes to do - it did stay all day in 90 degree heat..FYI - the "s waves" are slight curves at best, I feel strongly we would need a bigger iron to have the true "s wave".Good Luck! =-D 09/02/2012
