This Corellian tranporter is reputed to be one of the fastest and best-equipped ships in the galaxy. The Millennium Falcon may look old and broken down, but continual modifications have made it into something special. The crew has for years consisted of the reckless pilot and smuggler become hero of the rebel alliance, Han Solo, and his co-pilot and technician, the trusty Wookiee Chewbacca. A long time ago Solo won the ship from Lando Calrissian in a game of sabacc. The Corellian transport type YT-1300 played an important role in the destruction of both battle stars and is probably the most famous ship in the galaxy. Inside the ship there is a hyperdrive that gives it almost double the speed of any imperial star cruiser. The ship goes into battle with the most up-to-date imperial deflector system, two quad laser cannon and two disruptors.

Not what I expected My 8 year old son had a good time putting it together, but hasn't had a whole lot of fun with it since. I was disapointed to find out that you were unable to put any people inside. Maybe I didn't research the product enough before purshasing, but I thought he would be able to really play with it not just look at it. 12/28/2009
Model Kit - Not Kenner Toy First of all this is not the Kenner large Falcon for your kids action figures. This is a plastic model kit that you have to assemble yourself. All the parts are pre-painted but it doesn't look too bad. If you don't like the paint scheme you can use Easy-Off oven cleaner on all the parts before you put it together and paint it yourself. This is not a toy, it's a model kit. I personally have every Star Wars model kit and this one is based on the original 1977 Falcon kit only painted with snap-together parts. 09/11/2010
A Piece Of Junk! I bought two of these one for each of my boys. My husband and I put them both together and within 10 minutes they were broken into pieces. This is just a bunch of plastic that does not stay together. The first thing to break was the landing gear. Second thing were the guns on top along with the dish looking item. Then the sides started coming off...Now the only thing I have left is a bunch of plastic pieces trailing around my house! I am not impressed!! I would never have spent $80 on these if I knew it was plastic junk that just falls apart at the seams literally... My kids can not even play with it. We have had it since Christmas Morning and that night it was starting to break into pieces! 01/07/2010
