Rated 4 out of 5★ by Trouble41267 A Little Different Than the Other HON Books. I brought and read this book the day it came out, it was a little over 300 pages. This book is a little different than rest of the books in the series. First, Nefert is a lot less active in this book, due to her fall in the last book it's left her wounded and revisiting her past life. I recommend reading Neferet's Curse before reading this book, because it reveals a lot of her past that is needed to understand her in this book. Second, this book is pretty good but it's not up to par with the other books, the climax is at the end of the book. The way this book ends sets up the scene for the next book and it's going to be totally unpredictable. Third, most of the book takes place at the HON much like the first few books, minus Neferet and a few other characters, and mostly in Zoey's view. I liked the book but it wasn't overly exciting because it's the set up for the next book and the last two chapters are shocking and I wish I didn't have to wait a year for the next book. I brought the book in the store and it costed me two dollars more but it was worth not having to wait on it. Wal-mart offers the book cheaper than the bookstores, so I'm not complaining. 10/16/2013
