Makes dogs taste great I plugged this cooker in and tossed on 2 dogs to test it, they were done in 12 minutes. Easy clean up and the bun warmer works well too.I now use it about twice a week and beats the flavor of boiled or nuked. 06/01/2009
Great Product Prior to purchasing this product I didn't have high expectation. I just figured I was buying a cheap warmer mainly for novelty purposes.To my surprise, I was really impressed with this item. It doesn't just warm the hot dog, it actually cooks it. I didn't think it would get hot enough but it does. It took about 10 minutes on average - (depends on how you like your dogs), but I thought that was pretty quick. The good thing is that they were really juicy and a whole lot better than boiling them. I did use good tasting wieners to start with - Hebrew National brand are my preference.DOWNFALLS: The bun warmer isn't the best because its just dry heat that is rising so the buns can get dried out. I don't use that very often. But NO BIG DEAL.Overall, I am impressed. To save space, you can even remove the top portion. I really like this brand, I also purchased a cotton candy maker, and a popcorn cart as gifts and expected that I might have to return one or the other but to my surprise, all they work really well. 01/13/2010
Pros n Cons Overall for the price this was a good deal.Pro's are its easy to setup and use and the dogs taste great.Con's are it only really works well with all beef franks the cheaper by products one tend to swell and will not rotate on the rollers to be able to cook evenly. and also the bun warmer is more of a bun toaster since the heat rising up from the elements while cooking the dogs is what also will cook the buns in the top canopy 10/31/2009
