    Excellent Carpet Cleaner Foam

The carpet near the entrance was almost black - I was thinking I had to go for professional carpet cleaning. One of my friends recommended that carpet cleaner foams could be used. Tried this one - ordered over walmart.com to get two at a discounted price. It's a fantastic product - after applying as soon as I brushed it all stains were gone - simply vanished. Once it dried out, I did vacuum it with a regular vacuum cleaner. It's shining as if the carpets are brand new one. Only blemish is the quantity is really less. Will use the 2nd one after a while - super product - will buy again.

    The carpet looks new again!

This stuff is the bomb! It was easy to apply, even without the special brush tool. I bought just the foam and followed the directions on the can. Instead of a mop though, I used a broom to work the foam into the carpet. I was uncertain about how much to put down, so just kind of winged it, putting a little more on the grungier areas. (We have dogs. And cats. And grandsons. And live in the country.) One 22 oz. can did approximately 200 sq. feet. I must have got it right as it did a beautiful job. It took several hours to dry. After a good vacuuming, the carpet looks fantastic. I rated Resolve High Traffic Foam as Excellent in both "Value" and "Meets Expectations". Having no basis yet for a "Durability" rating, I left that rating blank. If its Durability is half as good as its overall performance, I'm guessing it will be at least average or better. I love the results and am so happy I ordered extra cans. Another room awaits!! I anticipate using it a couple of times a year (unless the dogs suddenly run away from home or magically cease bringing dirt in).

Excellent product when used with their big brush

These cans snap into a big brush that applies the foam when you pull on the trigger. If you have carpet stains on light-colored carpet Resolve will either remove them forever or for many months at a time. This application system with foam will initially get your carpet as clean as a pro, but for long-term results you should follow up with a water-only vacuum to remove any more soil and the Resolve itself after it has dried and finished its mild bleaching-like activity. Otherwise the presence of the soap can actually attract dirt. If you've got heavy stains, one of these cans may only cover about 25 square feet, but it's well worth the results.

    • A. I used my floor mop/brush to rub it in and scrub lightly. I have pets and they were fine. It worked great!

    • A. Yes, and yes. I carefully read the product cautions, and the only hazard appears to be getting the product in your eyes. I'm allergic to all kinds of perfumes and chemicals, but this didn't bother me. I kept the dogs out of the room until after it was all done (dried and vacuumed) and no one so much as sneezed. I couldn't keep the cats out of the room (hello, they jump right over baby gates!) but they opted to bug off and I've seen no reactions from them either. Instead of using a damp mop to work the foam into the carpet, as suggested on the can, I used a synthetic broom. Spouse gets credit for that idea. I think you can even use a damp rag in a pinch. I didn't get the brush and with the results I got, I see no need to. It's good stuff!

    • A. If you use on the heavy traffic areas and do not soak your carpet I don't see why not, they also have carpet cleaners that is just for pet stains.
