Wife is happy having Steaks at Home again:) Got this last summer and have used it many many times on the grill and for roasts/ turkey/ meatloaf etc in the oven. Worked great every time and love that I can set the meat type and how I want it. Then I head back to the computer to play till it beeps. Can keep an eye on it so I know how much time I have till it will beep as well. Great idea and have had not one complaint. 05/25/2009

Going on 3rd season of use. I absolutely love my meat thermometer. I use it about 3-4 times a month from April-September and I am going on my third season using it with no problems at all. I wouldn't cook without it. The finished product is always PERFECTLY cooked. I mostly use it for chicken but have also used it for steak. 04/30/2009
piece of junk When it works it works great. It is cheaply manufactured and feels very flimsy. I used it twice with no problems but on grill event #3 it failed outright, with the base and remote units failing to synchronize.There is no manufacturer logo or model number on the unit. Luckily the owners manual had contact information.Trying to contact JLR Gear for satisfaction.Save your $16. 05/03/2009
