Does this come with a carrying bag for all of the pieces?

does this hoist have a braking/locking system?

The actual item is cut open like someone tried to get it out and it's scratched up. The box it came in was open only taped on one side. This Christmas gift was delivered with an open box so all can see.  The one it was for seen his gift. I will not order from Calcutta outdoors ever again. They do not care about their products being delivered with cut up or scratched items. I'm not sure why only one side of the box was taped shut. Lack of care for their customers products.
