Rem synthetic stock Bolted on to a Remington 11-87 Premier that I did not want to bang up the stock on. On sale for 40 bucks and delivered to your local Wally World is a great deal. Needed to sand down the neck where it butted up against the stock for proper fit, took about 10 minutes to get a good fit. Shot the stock full of sealing foam to make it less hollow sounding when hit or tapped. Gun has less perceived recoil then the wood stocks did that came off and I really like the recoil pad, big plus when shooting a box of 3" mags in a morning at geese. 09/27/2009
Fits Like a Glove The old wooden stock for my 20 year old Remington 1100 was significantly damaged due to significant use for all those years. I wanted to use the gun on a pheasant hunt in Kansas in early November so I purchased the synthetic stock and forearm to refurbished the gun to a useful condition. The hunt went great! We hunted in the rain, sleet and mud. The new 1100 synthetic stock did its job well and fit perfectly right out of the box. Thanks WalMart ! 11/16/2009
