Rated 5 out of 5 by DVISS Great Shotgun for a Great Price Great shotgun to start with. Same model Cabela sells, but at Walmart it is $100 less. The 870 is a solid shotgun. I have hunted in rain and snow and have never had a problem. The gun breaks down easily for cleanings. Wood stock is well made. I have shot different shells and never had a jam. Walmart has it cheaper than anyone else. It shoots anything in the 2 3/4- 3'' range flawlessly. I have never had any problems with it. I can't say much else other than you will not regret buying this shotgun. 12/28/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by weaponanalysis MUST BUY I would have to say this gun is built like a tank and very accurate, I have been shooting guns and studying guns for 6 years if not more. If you are into the tati- cool stuff this gun has a huge selection of aftermarket parts. The recoil on this gun is LOW..... Own a Mossberg 500 also which is a well built gun but cant stand up to the Remington 870 in my opinion. The only downfall is that 8 lbs. in the woods without strap does get heavy at times but you do get used to it. Well worth every penny. Must encourage anybody to buy this gun!!! 04/09/2013
