I haven't tried the VCR yet. only the DVD player.  But It seems great! And I can't believe how easy it was to install and set up.

A  SNAP !

So far, this combo VCR/DVD is working perfectly.  It came with the remote and the instruction book.  I have been able to play VCRs that are both commercial and homemade.  Although I know its refurbished - VCRs have not been made in decades - it looked new and clean.  I didnt need to buy extra wiring or attachments.  I plugged the VCR/DVD into my flat screen, it worked right away.  My purpose in buying this unit was to play old tapes of my son from the 1980s.  Goal achieved!

Really nice, clean refurbished unit - like new.  Got it working easily, has many hook-up options for various scenarios. Great price and good deal on 2 year warranty.

Got the unit and didn't hook up for few days, finally did. I wanted it to use with a video card so I can switch vcr tapes for dvd and so far so good. The picture quality and operation are perfect and would suggest to everyone to buy this...and not to throw your old vcr away. :)

Love It.  I have a great selection of VHS tapes that I can now really enjoy.  WOW!!!

Watched two older cassettes with no problem. The picture quality on our 63 inch plasma screen is of analog camera quality but definition and color are acceptable as is the sound quality.
The only criticism ----- the power cable is only three feet long.

Just what I was looking for.  Hard to find at a reasonable price, but I can always count on Walmart for what I need.  am transferring VHS to DVDs.  This works out very well.

So far so good, I've only used it one time, to play a VCR tape.  Installation was fairly simple.  I believe it was a good buy, only time will tell!

i wish the website would have mentioned that you cannot directly connect this unit  with an in from antennae  and out to t.v. without buying an raf converter. you need to show the back of the unit on  the website.
