Rated 5 out of 5 by kgfm Reese Towpower Car Top Rainproof Bag Oh my gosh! I am so glad I did not spend hundreds on a hard shell car top carrier!!!! This Reese Car Topper is great. I bought it to drive to the beach knowing we would not fit all we needed into my small SUV. I was skeptical. No need. It was almost like a never ending space to fill. We put 2 beach chairs, 1 lounge and every soft item we had - sleeping bags, pillows, bedding, soft suit cases, all the beach towels...well there was more! The topper was sturdy, and secured completely. We never had a fear it would fail and fall or rip on the 3 hour, mostly 70 mph speed limit highway we traveled. I was so impressed I promised I would write a glowing recommendation! Well worth the money! 07/08/2012

Hot desert sun, rain, cold ice and snow! The material does get hard to manage when in 20 degree weather but the would be expected. Great deal!!! 01/06/2013

On our way back from the trip we hit a very bad rain storm and nothing on the inside of the carrier got wet! I would recommend this to others, it certainly did serve its purpose 10/07/2012

I was willing to pay up to $100, however when I came across this and read the other reviews, I thought I would give it a try. It is definitely more that what I expected. It was sturdy and never leaked. Only complaint was my husband had trouble securing the straps. It took him a while, but he got it and we were good to go. Cannot wait to use it again!! 09/26/2012
