Great chair. First off, I'm a 6'2 male and I comfortably fit in this chair. It does sit quite low to the ground (approximately 1 foot), but if you're using the ottoman it doesn't really matter.The materials are decent. The chair doesn't make any noise when you spin it and the ottoman is sturdy. The reclining mechanism works and so does the tension adjuster but it is not flawless. Assembally took less than an hour and all tools were included.As for how comfortable the chair is, I find it satisfactory. The seat and back have a fair bit of padding though I'm sure with a lot of use that will disappear so I'm glad that both the chair and seat have zippers so it would appear that, if you're savvy in that department you could re-pad it yourself. The arm rests are large and cover my entire forearm.The box it came in was surprisingly small. Fit in the back seat of a 2 door car and one person could manage to get it in though I did have help.Overall the chair meets my expectations, and I was a bit weary before purchasing it as I myself ALWAYS like to read reviews before purchasing something. Good chair for the price. For under $100, this chair is about as good as your gonna find. Very comfortable, easy to put together, relatively light and easy to manage packaging. It sits kinda low to the ground, but the way the seat tilts up honestly makes that a non-issue. The recline function is different, but works well. Easily comfortable enough when reclined to take an afternoon nap in. I haven't had it long enough to comment on longevity, but it seems very sturdy and well made. I'm sure there are more comfortable better looking chairs around, but for the price this one is about as good as it gets. 12/09/2011
beautiful set and easy 2 put together My very first place without roommates. And i love this chair its extremely comfy and easy 2 put together. Received the set yesterday from fedex and my sis who only weighs 100 pounds fell asleep in the chair or i should say she choice to use it as a bed. she woke up relaxed and refreshed. i would recommend this set to anyone you cant beat the price and its gorgeous. Goin into day two and i use it 2 surf the web its a great height. The ultimate test is when my mom comes 2 use it cause she has arthritis and cant sit in very low chair or coaches. 12/08/2011
This is a really good chair!!! I bought this chair for my father for his bedroom because he loves to watch television in his room and had been sitting on a hard folding chair. He sat in this chair and was IN HEAVEN. This chair is very easy to put together (I did it in less than an hour and I'm not mechanically inclined) and is a really good deal for the price. It reclines and swivels and the cushions in the chair surprised me-i didn't think they would be that thick. It's faux leather and doesn't have massage or heat but c'mon-what do you expect for $100 bucks! It does have an adjustable locking mechanism on the side of the chair so that you can stay in the same position if you want to do that, but we haven't utilized it. Dad wants to be able to switch from one reclining position to the next. I was very pleasantly surprised and he loves it!! 12/19/2011
