Misleading Specs - Shelves too short I purchased this shelf mount after researching and verifying the length of my Sony Blu Ray Home Theater system. My Sony receiver is 12.25 inches long and the shelves state that they are 14 inches long, which I guess is correct if you do not put the shelve system together or mount it on the wall. The picture also shows the components neatly sitting and FITTING on the shelves. So after reading the specs and comparing them to my receiver and adding an inch for cables, simple math tells me that it will fit. To my surprise after mounting the shelf system on the wall, the bracket and cover for the shelf system takes up 2 inches of the shelf. My Sony receiver hangs over the shelf by about 2 inches now because of the bracket and wire cover. The specs should read 12 inches of usable shelf. Do not purchase this shelf system for any standard length audio/video components because they will not fit. Check your component length and then add an inch or so for cable connections. 01/11/2011
Nice excessory rack I just like the product as it is a great way to hide the cords between the Dish receiver, DVD player and the TV. Looks nice also. Good product...could have just a little bigger shelves...but not bad. 11/29/2009
Easy to assemble Love this product. Although it was a little more than I wanted to pay originally it was well worth it. shelves are heavy glass and was overall easy to put together - i have it sitting under a 32" flat screen TV and looks great. Would look fine with a larger TV as well. 02/14/2011
The wall plate #12 did not fit the Aluminum support#2 so it would not mount on the wall. # are part numbers. I called the company but received no return phone calls. Fortunately, Walmart takes returns with online orders. 08/26/2010
