Rated 1 out of 5Â by skepticalme don't waste your time with this This is a useless, poorly-designed, poorly-performing piece of junk. You can look at pictures and specs all day and be convinced that this would be a reasonable thing to buy. But it only takes a few seconds during the un-boxing to realize you've been duped! I went ahead and spent all the time setting it up only to find out that the digital optical input apparently didn't work, or at least required some hidden configuration step to work with the TV I bought with this. Just silence. But the speakers of course made noise when I put in a DVD, so the speakers are capable of working when they actually have a signal.Save you money and either use the built-in speakers on the TV or spend more to get a real system. This is nothing but a marketing ploy to get you to spend more on the TV than you would otherwise. 08/04/2012

Rated 1 out of 5Â by kcjimmy marginal if it works dvd eject feature stopped 2 months after I got this, holding a dvd hostage permanently it seems. 3 days after, it stopped producing sound altogether. When it did work, the sound quality was just slightly better than my old TV. The rear channels were hardly audible even when set to the highest setting. Assuming it actually works and mine was in the minority of defects, I would only suggest this if your budget absolutely doesn't allow for anything else. 07/21/2012
