Rated 5 out of 5 by 1098 good product I was looking for an inexpensive but sturdy 3 wheel scooter for my 4 year old son. We live on a dirt road with a dirt driveway. My son is able to move this scooter around on the dirt since the wheels are rubbery instead of hard plastic and they are large enough to tolerate the grit and rocks. of course it works much better on the wood deck, but he can use it on the dirt as well. 09/22/2010
Rated 1 out of 5 by dewgs not a good option for a scooter for a 3 year old i did some research on scooters for my 3 year old. she had been borrowing the other kids mini-kick scooters in the neighborhood. i discovered the mini-kick was $83!!! surely i could get a cheaper option, right? razor seems to be a well known and popular brand for adults. i assumed they made a good kid model too. WRONG! here is why it DOES NOT work. one wheel in the front makes it very hard for a toddler to control. two wheels in the back is too wide. her inner ankle keeps hitting the bolt heads that stick out of each of the outer back wheels. it's so poorly constructed for a toddler i wonder if anyone at razor actually tested this on a toddler. i don't usually go on the internet and write reviews, but i really feel strongly that i should save other parents from making the same mistake of purchasing this. 09/13/2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by pauldar Need to actually see one before you buy! Bought two of these for my two Grandsons, who are both 3 years old. The scooter board, which the kids put their feet on, is barely wide enough for the "balance" that this "beginning" scooter claims to have. The spot welds in the handle bars left slag inside where the steering column goes - could not install until I removed - took four hours to sand out by hand. Should have returned!Otherwise it is a fairly nice scooter for an older toddler . . . would recommend prospective buyers see both the "Huffy" and "Razor" brands before buying to weigh both the pros and cons . . . 06/22/2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by snowglo Weight limit to light. Had to return due to 3 year old will soon outweigh limit allowed. Base fairly narrow. Bought the Buz Lightyear with a weight limit of 65 pounds and a wider base. 12/30/2010
