Bought it for my 6 yr. old Grandson and it's just right. His 11 yr old brother can ride it but it's a tight fit.

My daughter is 4' 6" and she fits very well.

I think this would be small for a 13 year old. I can fit in it as a 5' adult but this may be young for a 13 yo.

My son is 7 years old and it is perfect for him now. I would guess by the time he is 10 years old he might be able to fit but will have outgrown it. From watching him ride it around I would say a 13 year old would quickly tire of this item.

He can probably fit but would apt to get bored. My advice would be to spend the money to rent at a go-cart place with more HP.

i dont think buying this for a thirteen year try something gas powerd like a pocket rocket or pi bike and some lower end go karts

It depends on your child's size as opposed to his age. My 13 year old can ride it. Keep in mind that the driver's legs will be bent while riding.

The age starts at 12 yrs. old but I have noticed younger drivers. Will my 13 yr old son be able to ride this comfortably, or will it be too small?

Does not have reverse.. But I did a mod using some relays and a pushbutton switch and my sons now has reverse.. parts are availabe from electricscooterparts.com

No. It has Low, High settings for moving forward, but no reverse. . The speed setting and brake are on the steering wheel very similar to a bicycle.
