Gorgeous dishes I absolutely LOVE these dishes. We just moved into a new house with black/beige granite tile, beige and black and green backsplash, and honey-colored cabinets. The previous homeowner said the granite surface was hard, so I wanted to get some stoneware dishes (rather than the more fragile porcelain-like dishes I had previously).I can honestly say these are the most beautiful dishes I have ever owned! I bought three sets, and yes, the colors are a little bit different from box to box (one box bought in-store was slightly different from the one bought online), but to me, this just adds to their character. They still match each other and look like they are part of the same set.The mugs are a great size, the plates are sturdy, and the bowls are really pretty. People can't believe I got them at Walmart, they are so elegant! I know that sounds bad, but seriously - if you haven't shopped at Walmart lately, you should check it out! Their stuff in store and online is some of the best quality I have ever seen, and I know I am always getting the best price at Walmart! 07/08/2008
I love this set as well! I am *so* pleased with this set. The bowls are gorgeous - they're wider and more shallow than standard bowls. The dinner plates do have a subtle bowl appearance to them - they're not completely flat. I've had to be a bit more creative when stacking everything into the dishwasher - the dinner plates are just a wee bit larger than my previous Denby set, and they don't fit as well. The color varies quite a bit from box to box, ranging from bluey-purple to blue-green to grey-green. However, everything coordinates very well. Great set! 12/15/2008
Beautiful Dishes! I absolutely love these dishes. The plates and bowls have a very nice shape to them. The edges of the plates slightly curve up and I love the shape of the bowls. The color is beautiful, each one is slightly different. I have had them for several months and they have been very durable. I even got a back up set, just in case I need more and can't find them again. 05/09/2009
poor quality these are pretty, but not for long.most of the pieces have chips in them and I am now shopping for a better quality. 04/26/2009
