Great Wagon, horrible packaging

Best off road wagon. Ours got first used at a corn field maze in the rain. A wagon without these wheels would of never made it unless we carried it out. It fits easily in the back of the SUV with the handle tucking under it. We have used to it to walk a trail, pick pumpkins and haul all the must need stuff when going for a picnic. My daughter (2 year old) has pulled it around our driveway with her toys in it. We love that the wooden sides can be removed and "grow" with the kids. Our only complaint is the packaging. We actually bought one and had it shipped to our house and when we started putting it together we were shocked at how dented and scratched the wagon was, it looked like a used wagon. We ended up returning it and ordering a new one. This time we had it shipped to the store. It still had a couple of dents and scratches but was not as bad as the first one. For some reason Radio Flyer doesn't pad the metal base so it gets dented easily when shipped. The wagon is exactly what we wanted and we know in the next few years it will get dented and scratched but expected to start with a "new" wagon. Especially for the price. If ordering this wagon have it shipped to the store for pickup so it won't get as damaged.

Definitely buy this great wagon! It's very sturdy and well-made. The railing is great for our three year old son and 5 month old daughter. It's a nice looking unit that's perfect for the streets, snow or sand (nice traction in the big tires) or in nature, like hiking or at the park. If you try it, you'll like it.

We bought this wagon for our kids for Christmas this year. We have three kids and are on the brink of outgrowing strollers...but still need something to pull them around in occasionally. My big kids have a little summertime business where they walk around at outdoor events and sell soda pop. They kept borrowing our neighbor's Red Rider wagon for this and we finally realized we should get our own. So we shopped pretty hard for a couple of months and compared all the different types of wagons that are available. We chose this one because of the large tires, removeable sides, size, and steel construction. We looked closely at a much cheaper one at a ranch store, but realized the quality was so much less that it just wouldn't hold up. I totally expect to pull my grandkids around in this wagon in another twenty years. We decided on this model and shopped all over the internet for it, from craigslist and ebay to Target and finally Walmart. A few weeks before Christmas, Walmart dropped the price to $99! Then, they shipped it to my door (in Montana in a snowstorm) for only $9! We had seriously been considering a used one we found on craigslist in Las Vegas until they wanted $45 to ship it. Anyway, we are totally happy with the quality of the wagon as well as the price we got it for. We just barely made the kids take it outside after they spent most of Xmas vacation sitting in it watching movies and playing video games or pulling our toddler around the kitchen island. My son's friend (age 10) even slept in it one night.

  • A. Hi Schuffster: It depends on the size of the children. Please note that the body of the Model #32 All-Terrain Steel & Wood Wagon is about 37.25"(L) x 18.5"(W) x 9.5"(H).

  • A. Depends on what you mean by small. My 3 and 2 year old grand sons are a good fit. A 3rd would make a cramped ride and quite heavy to pull.

  • A. I doubt it...two small ones for sure. The wood sides are solidly attached, so that helps.

  • A. I do not believe that they would be comfortable. They would probably kick at each other for more room. 2 is tough some days.
