Girl Tech journal It's a fun little journal that my 9 yr. old uses. It was a bit touchy at first trying to get the voice recognition to work for her, but after several tries it works well now and she can get into the journal on the first attempt. Unfortunately, my son sounds just like her so he can access it too. If you are buying it just for the novelty, it is a good product. If you are buying it to keep nosy siblings out, it might not be fool proof. But if the user changes the password often enough it will work great to keep others out. 05/01/2012
Great first diary or journal for preteens I brought this as birthday gift for my 9yr daughter. She absolutely loves it! Keeps her little 4yr old curious brother out!! All the features that are written about this product hold truth. It locks and only opens at the sound of her voice and passwords. Encourages her to write. Which nowadays is highly expected in the elementary schools. Very easy to operate. 04/19/2012
