Just looked and I think it could be done.

It is possible but requires a saw for the bamboo rod at the top and bottom, then use strong scissors to trim the blind. I had to custom fit mine after they got here and they look great. Just be careful and don't cut the strings while trimming.

Good for outdoors. We have ours on our front porch/deck. Not sure what you mean about overhang.

It has a wood header so I'd say yes. I don't think it would last for very long though.

Can this product be mounted on the outside of widow; if so, is a one inch overhang okay?

Mine have been outside year round for over 2 years so I would say yes.

We had a window on our screened in pourch that received the morning sun it was very glaring and hot. This is where we usually have breakfast and as the sun became higher we had to move away from the window because of the heat and glare. We ordered the bamboo shade and when it arrived we put it up immediately. One of my biggest complaints was that I didn't want to loose the view through that window but the next morning when the sun came up I was so thrilled because we could not only see through the screen but the glare from the sun was gone and we could enjoy breakfast without the heat. I am very pleased with this shade and I am considering ordering shades for the rest of the windows on the pourch. Ordering on line is one of the easiest ways to shop as far as I am conserned, you order from your home and it comes directly to your home. We live in the country and it is quite a drive to the biggest town that has a Wal Mart. This is a wonderful feature. Thank you Wal Mart!!

Very good product

We bought these matchstick blinds for our beach bungalow. Our place is small and there is no room for fussy window treatments. The blinds are perfect and look great.,

Perfect

We found the product exactly what I expected. It was easy to install and looks great. We put it up on our screened in porch to block out the late sun so that we could enjoy our porch. We live in SC and have had a lot of rain and it has held up well. It looks great and will buy more.

I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY 96" X 54" picture window. Similar CUSTOM treatments cost more than the glass! It is transparent w/ 1/8" gaps between the fruitwwood slats, which is fine for us b/c it's not intended for privacy. More of a dimmer, (we live in CO), to mellow out the reflection of snow and bright sun. Looking in from outside during the day one would have to strain to see in, and at night it creates enough diffusion to not draw attention. Like sheer panels, I guess. The bonus is that I can enjoy the world outside w/o covering a perfectly good window. Hope that helps. Cheers!

Inexspensive solution

Great look. Easy installation. The only thing keeping it from being exceptional is the fact that the safety cord continually releases.

Lovely bamboo blind

The outdoor bamboo roll up blind works great but Iwas expecting the item to be a little heavier. However it works exactly like I expected, and I wish I had purchased it sooner. My front porch is now much cooler in the afternoon setting sun (extremely important because I live in central Louisiana).

Great lightweight sun blocker

the hooks for hanging blind with were not able support the weight, had to purchase same kind of but sturdier hooks. Ideally for a 60 in width blind, the top rail really needed three supports to hang it from. Otherwise it looks good meets my needs.

Walmart took over a week to deliver the blinds and the shipper is in California where I live. When I opened the package it was not packaged in a roll with the cords installed. The cords were bundled up in a knot and there was no diagram to help explain the routing of the cords. It is installed with three flimsy triangular hangers. When the hangers are attached they appear to be ready to fall off the hook. The upper bamboo bar to which the hangers are attached are very flimsy, twisting into shapes which make the roll hang unevenly. The product is advertised as an outdoor blind, however it is apparent from the need to hang it backwards, outdoors, that this was designed an indoor roll. $73 for this blind is an excessive price for a blind of questionable quality.

Substandard quality and delivery time

I found a cheaper version at Lowes ($20 bucks). This product did NOT provide shade and let light through all day. It did not cut the glare down at all. It was also a pain to ship this back...can't return it to the store, have to ship it to Wayfair and get an Return authorization #. Shipping both ways costs close to what the shade costs. Won't be ordering again.

I ended up sending this shade back

This is a very disappointing product. The installation brackets are 2 flimsy V shaped brackets that just screw into the window frame. The blinds do NOT roll up. The color is beautiful and exactly what I need so have left the blind in place but they are permanently unrolled. NOT HAPPY.
