Avoid the hassles of long cables and wires using the RF-Link AVS-5811 5.8GHz Audio and Video Transmission System. The system can seamlessly telecast and broadcast signals via a 5.8 GHz wireless transmitter. It also prevents interferences from crowded 2.4GHz ISM band applications used by cordless phones, wireless LAN's and Bluetooth devices. The 5.8GHz wireless video transmitter lets you select up to four channels to send audio and video signals to TV anywhere up to 300 feet. It sends and receives strong video and hi-fi stereo signals that can penetrate even through walls and other obstructions. With a built-in IR remote, the long range video transmitter allows you to remotely control the audio/video source in other rooms. The IR repeater transmitter is compatible with wireless surveillance monitoring systems and you can connect the transmitter with a camcorder to use it as CCTV device.

NO WIRES ! Worked great in my house. I was able to put the transmitter inside of an entertainment center where it is almost not visible and it transmits through the walls to a back room with a perfect picture. I had to set the unit on a different frequency due to interference, but it works flawlessly. I highly recommend it to anyone not wanting to run cables all over the house or save the expense of buying/leasing an additional satellite/cable reciever 02/10/2009
OK_ BUT NOT USEABLE TRANSMITTS FINE BUT THE RECEIVER DOES NOT HAVE A BAND PASS FILTER TO REJECT THE SUROUDING INTERFERENCE. IT HAD A GREAT PICTURE AND SOUND BUT COULD NOT REJECT THE SUROUNDING INTERFERECE FROM EITHER THE AIR PORT OR MILITARY BASE ON EITHER SIDE OF ME. 02/11/2010
Better than expected From reading some of the reviews, I was hesitant about buying this item. I hooked the TX out in my detached garage to transmit security camera images to my security camera system in the house. I hooked up the RX to the camera input on my security recorder. (about 60 feet from the TX and through 3 walls) I adjusted both antenna to where I thought they would be looking at each other and set the channels the same. Powered them up and to my surprise I had a picture. The TX (transmitter) does change channels periodically for some reason. When this happens I change the channel on the RX to fix it. I've had it for 2 weeks now and haven't had any problems. I thought it quit working the first night but the next morning I found out the RCA cables (some that I had) weren't making good contact. Changed the cables and that solved the problem. As of yet I haven't got the IR mouse to work though as it would be nice to be able to switch between cameras. The Unit comes with TX, RX, RCA cables, power adapters and the IR mouse. 05/11/2012
