Beware of the Dimensions Alert. The mast is listed as 53" in length when it's actually 54".More importantly, the O.D. (outside diameter) is listed as 1.80" when it's actually a standard 1.25".The stated mis-measurement caused me a lot of grief. 12/03/2010
Very thin walled tubing is used for this mast. It will not stand the weight of a very heavy antenna especially if three or more extensions are used at once. They bend and break when raising the mast. Much too light weight construction. 01/12/2012
With tv signals going digital, a station that used to broadcast one channel can now broadcast subchannels. So you may now be able to receive multiple channels from one station. This is why I chose to put up an antenna. I now receive several HD channels over the airwaves for free. The poles I purchased to put up the antenna were of good quality, and had a nice painted finish. The price was also much lower than other stores I checked. 01/20/2012
