I personally would not use this product. Most cable companies use a quad sheild cable to reduce interference. They cost a few dollars more,but are well worth the money.

I'm using several of these cables to hook up my TVs to Direc Tv. They all work great. I even have some that are 50' long and I am getting perfect pictures all around. It is a great cable to use, especially for the price!

Yes. This is a single cable. The other is dual cable meaning 2 cables run together, side by side. Both are RG6 and should have equal performance.

Will this product have the same performance as the double RG-6 digital cable from Direct TV that I am replacing?

Yes, if you have cable or satellite internet this cable will be satisfactory. However if your crossing a room this cable might be a bit overkill. I used this cable to expand my tv from the living room to my bedroom (3 rooms away) via my attic and still had about ten foot of slack.

can this be used to move a time warner internet box to the other side if the room

Any coax cable can be used outdoors provided there are no cuts or breaks in the rubber coating. The only problem is that if you do not get a cable specifically rated for outdoor use, you will shorten the life of the cable tremendously. Your cable is obviously not outdoor rated or you would not be asking this question. CAN it be used outdoors: Yes. SHOULD it be used outdoors: NO.

When my Mother had to stay in bed, I moved the TV from the Den to her bedroom. Unfortunately, there wasn't a cable outlet in it so she was limited to Over The Air. While that was ok for a little bit, as time went by, I needed to get the TV back on cable. I went to my local store to check on coax cables to get an idea (wasn't sure on length needed). Found several that would do the job, but I thought I might do better online. When I checked online, I found the cable for less money (only a few dollars but every one counts) AND it had Gold plated connectors instead of the regular ones. With free shipping/pick up at store, it was a no brainer. After connecting it to the cable box and TV (and resetting the tuner), she had her shows once again. The coax cable works great!!
Bottom line, if you need to setup a TV away from where the cable comes in, this is a good choice.

It's a coax cable

Good quality and no noticeable loss of signal

Basic Coaxial cable, saw it for less here at Walmart. Had issues with signal loss with previous cable that I was using. Replaced with this cable, and picture quality is now much better. Gold plated end connectors are a plus as well.

great price for 50' cable

Not much to say about this product other than it's 50 feet long and connects your television to your cable box. It gets the job done. It's a good quality cable.

This is very good cable. Not like the thin stuff that's out there. Works great. The shipping price seemed a little high. But this cable should last forever.

Good product at a very good price

Picks up about 20 plus channels. Need to adjust it sometimes but if i had it up high I think it work better.

TV antenna

Overall the product was as stated. However the connectors were so stiff that I nearly cross threaded my coax. Port on my television. Other than the harsh stiffness of the connectors which require you to have thumbs of steel or a small crescent wrench the product was satisfactory.

room for improvement

Be very careful. This is not a quad sheild cable. After serching google for a 50' RG 6 quad sheilded cable I found one from Walmart. Surprise not what I ordered. Instead I received a single sheild cable. Cheap is an understatement. Here is the ad on the internet

Not as advertised

They brag this as a quality cable, and while RG-6 is the standard for carrying your Dish Network signal, this cable is not up to snuff, at all. I have the 25' version of this cable and it can barely get out of its own way to allow the signal to pass through. Dish signal is lost each time these cables were used. Only get image for a bit here and there. Can't use any other electronics around them, including an oscillating fan 6 feet away, without signal being lost.

Junk Junk Junk Junk Junk. Will have to figure out a new use for them. Clothesline, perhaps.
