The heart of every estate plan is a will, also known as a last will and testament. This legal document puts you in control of who inherits your property and who would assume guardianship of your children if it were ever necessary. Without a will, state law will determine these issues. Your will allows you to name an executor ("personal representative") whose job it is to see that your wishes are carried out. And you can appoint a trusted person to manage property left to young people. With Quicken WillMaker Plus, you can revise and update your will whenever you like.
Your Health Care Directive
Spares your loved ones difficult decisions by laying out your wishes for medical care and naming someone to carry those wishes:
Health Care Power of Attorney
Permit a loved one to make important medical decisions for you if necessary.
Living Will
Specify whether you want your life prolonged through artificial means in certain circumstances and set out your wishes about specific medical treatments and procedures.
Your Final Arrangements
Plan a funeral or other ceremony and ease the burden on your loved ones. Describe your preferences for burial, cremation, memorials, obituaries, and more, and select someone to oversee your final arrangements.
Letter to Survivors - NEW
Use this letter to leave a final message to your loved ones. You can explain the gifts you left in your will, leave advice, divulge secrets, suggest ways of spitting shared gifts, or any other thoughts you'd like to leave behind.
Documents for Your Executor
Make sure your executor has all the forms and instructions necessary to do the job: checklists, letters, notices, claim forms and more.
Information for Caregivers and Survivors
Organize your estate so that your survivors don't have to. Use these documents to give them information about everything from bank accounts to the names of people you'd like contacted in the event of your illness or death.

Customer Product Reviews

Rated 4.4 out of 5★ by 7reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Excellent product. Excellent product. Easy to use. Complete package. Work at your own pace. 03/04/2014
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Excellent software to create your will. I purchased this software to update my living trust and will. It's very easy to install and get started. The interview format is very efficient in completing your task. 04/16/2014
Rated 3 out of 5★ by Got some good tips that makes it worthwhile After reading reviews I don't know if I would trust it to hold up legally if challenged. Or even if it would be accepted by courts. You never know until you try to do something with it, by then it's too late. I read it mainly to get an idea of the will making process. For that purpose it's a good buy and may help if you talk to an attorney about making a will. 05/26/2014
Rated 4 out of 5★ by Very decent Good software. Can't do anything complex, but decent for simple wills. I think it served my needs, however I couldn't get rid of the feeling that I really don't know if that will will be honored in the court. It saves money, but if you are not sure I would recommend an attorney. 06/10/2014
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Things I'd never thought of... This is a great product, I highly recommend it. It is very easy and intuitive to use, and it covers all the bases - makes me think of things I would never have thought of without having been prompted. 06/04/2014
Rated 4 out of 5★ by Great purchase This will be the perfect solution for my parents to get their wills in order. .We have just started but it looks like it is as easy as following the directions. 07/22/2014
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Good for all unless you live in Louisiana I bought this online and while it looks like a great product I can't use it! The ad needs to say accepted everywhere in the US except Louisiana. I think maybe due to community property state that has it's own constitution. 08/18/2014
