I was trying to find excelsior that is finer like some I have used before. This is a great product, but it's hard to tell from the photo and description what it is like. It's a bigger bag than you think, like 18-20" long and 8-10" wide. The excelsior is very thick, so it didn't work so well for my project. I actually bought two because I didn't realize how big it was. Wish I had understood it's not the basket-fill type of product I was thinking it was.
