Yes, with the exception of the plastic covers. Pyrex® Glassware can be used for cooking, baking, warming and reheating food in microwave ovens and preheated conventional or convection ovens.

Pyrex is good in ovens but obviously not the plastic top and real care must be taken not to put the plastic top onto the bowl until it cools sufficiently to be held in your hands without protection.

I believe it is. The only difference between the two sets is one less bowl and lid.

Pyrex is microwave safe but take care with the plastic top. So long as the material in the pyrex is at or near boiling you should be ok. If the material you are cooking would get to be a lot hotter, it can distort and ruin the plastic lid

Pyrex in a freezer is not a problem so long as you storing dry goods in it. Liquids that freeze due to the water content freezing expand as they freeze and can break the glass. As a rule, while they can be used for dry goods, it is good practice not to use glass in a freezer

Microwave and Dishwasher Safe. Would not try to freeze or put in an oven.

You can use them in the micro except for popcorn. They aren't really the right shape to fit in the freezer.

My set says....microwave safe, oven safe, no broiler, no stovetop on the bottom of the bowls. Doesn't specify freezer but I would think you can use in freezer...just make sure they are not hot when you put them in the cold freezer.

I am so glad that I found these bowls on Walmart.com.  They are perfect and allow me to store many things without having to worry about the chemical composition of plastic containers.

Needed for years

These are great for everything small to large, they are a little to heavy for me, but I still use them, I use one to keep fruit in, and I use the rest for cooking, I also used it for my leaking sink, snacks for house guest, I use them for baking as well. I love them and use them every day more then what they are made for, my nephew used them to make me a mud cake and top it off with worms in side, I had to clean them very well, but they are easy to clean and disinfect, the lids are color coded witch is nice more me because I have tons of lips for everything.

These bowls cover a wide range from small to large. The covers are a great feature. They lock securely so you can take things to a party, store in the freezer or fridge. The covers can be laid loose on the bowl to prevent splatter in the microwave. The lip on the bowls makes them more secure to hold than bowls without a lip.

Versatile Bowl Set

I put my 2.5 quart mixing bowl which was hot from the microwave on an unseen wet spot on my sink counter and the bowl bottom cracked and shattered. I had that bowl for 30 years.
I went shopping for a replacement and was shocked to find that a 2 quart bowl was no less than $15.99. I found the 8-piece mixing bowl set online at Walmart for $14.99 - including a 2.5 quart bowl. Hard to beat and a perfect replacement. The other 3 bowls (and covers) are a nice bonus.

The quality we've come to expect from Pyrex is evident in this set.  The size range is perfect and the covers will come in handy.  We purchased this as a gift and, after seeing them, we will be purchasing a set for ourselves.  The bowls stack neatly into each other and store very well.  I would highly recommend this set if you are in the market for a set of bowls.
