    This stuff works!

I started using this when I started the P90X program for my recovery drink! I cannot be more pleased with this purchase! It is thick but mixes well with the almond milk I use (I do use a blender to mix!) and it taste just like a chocolate milkshake! However, when I use just water I do not like the taste! I feel satisfied and full after drinking it! It gives me lots of energy and it is cheaper here at walmart than on amazon!

    Weight Loss Meal supplement

I am preparing for weight loss surgery and spent so much money on protien powders that were horrible to digest, not to mention the money I have thrown down the drain. I supplement one shake in replace of a meal (its usually lunch). I have found the best way to drink this is to add 3/4 cup of skim/fat free milk add the 1 scoop powder and 3 ice cubes and blend. I like mine slushy. Sometimes I add some fruit in it. I have lost 20 pounds so far in 3 months just by replacing one meal a day with one shake. Its packed with protein and taste very very good. I expect I will be drinking this post-op in order to get my protein in. I get benefits before and after. Oh, the price is superb!

Not grainy, mixing completely in a very short time. Many powders I've tried had a chalky, distasteful aftertaste, but this product does not. Once mixed, it does not 'settle' after sitting a few moments. I'm sticking with this product.

I bought this and found out there is no scooper. It says 37 grams is 1 serving. What is the conversion from grams to cups or tbsp?
    by Lucky182002 6/22/2011
    • it will be about 1-1/2 ounces per scoop

    • I didn't think it had one either - until I shook it up and found the thing right in the middle of the powder. I'm adding two scoops of raw Stevia and 1/4 cup of dark cocoa powder - the Hershey kind you use for cooking, that is low carb. And I'm losing weight(fat) and gaining muscle like crazy! I'm adding that per 2 lbs bottle.

    • sometimes through the process of transport the scooper finds it's way to the bottom...it's probably deep down..my advice is buy another one because you are not just going to use one tub of this stuff...it goes in a month or less

    • I found my scooper on the very bottom of the "can". At first I didn't think I had one either.

Does it help you loose weight? Does it make you feel full? Is it a good meal replacement shake?
    by an anonymous customer 3/3/2012
    • It is not suggested to use to lose weight. But It is only 160 calories with 3 g of fat and no trans fat and only 2 grams of sugar with 25 grams of protein. I put psyllium husk powder in it, fruit, sometimes coconut oil too. You can make it more filling, the more extra ingredients you put in it.

    • This product helps you lose weight indirectly by helping to build lean mass which increases metabolism, does not make you feel full, and is not a meal replacement

    • My weight loss coach says this is just as good as anything GNC has come up with in this specific category, and cheaper as well. Cheap is better in this economy - for SURE!

    • This should be used in conjunction with regular meals..if you are looking to loose weight eat a light breakfast and light does not mean just a little...stick to your lunch and dinner healthy of course but make sure you are eating small healthy snacks in between...yes that sounds counter intuitive but it actually works..again eating healthy snacks...these types of supplements are primarily targeted to the bodybuilding group...you would want to mix this with water because it does not taste as good but soymilk is ok...you can always thin out the shake with more liquid but you will not necessarily feel full but you wont want to eat at the moment...
