Rated 5 out of 5★áby regor8542 Worth the $$ I have been using these filters for years and have never had the problem the previous shopper has with them folding over. I know I just place one filter into the basket and insure the sides are straight and all up against the sides nicely. I put the coffee in for a 12 cup maker and I always get a great pot. Now I will say I have known sometimes there are a few filters that may be not usable in my opinion due to the top rim not cut straight and there is a spot where it is cut making the side wall of the filter shorter. What I do is just throw it away and get the next one, I might throw away maybe 2 or 3 cents worth but not enough to say these are not worth the money and they work quite well. 08/25/2012

Rated 1 out of 5★áby MahSelf Not worth the cost. Paper too thin. While these seem to be good value based on quantity and price, I have found that they are not always reliable enough to use.The appeal of these was also the thickness of the paper, because I thought it would not clog so much. But that was its downfall.Too often, I find that the paper has folded over during the filtration process. That diverts the water from the grounds and some of it goes straight to the jug. What water does reach the grounds tends to wash some of them down to the jug, because the filter isn't in the correct place.I've never had it give me a jug of hot water, but I have had times when at least half of the grounds wash out, and into the jug or even clogging up the drip feed.To prevent this, I have to use several filters at the same time, being careful not to separate them as I pull them from the bag. Sometimes, even two filters together have folded over.I don't believe these are worth purchase and it's better to spend a little more and have filters that are totally reliable.I've given them one star because the system will not allow me to give none. 05/12/2012
Rated 1 out of 5★áby alreadytakenbyanotherrev folds over The cost of the filters is low, and the fact that they fold over wouldn't be such a big deal if it didn't waste my coffee. I did pay more for the coffee, and if the filter is folding over and ruining my coffee and wasting it, it is in turn wasting the money I spent on the coffee as well as wasting the money I spent on the filter. It also wastes my precious time in the morning when I am trying to get ready for work and I have to spend extra time re-making the coffee because the filter failed. Besides that, it's just plain frustrating, and the problem is NOT solved by carefully making sure the sides are up when the filter is installed. 3 times out of 5, it still folds over and wastes my time and money. I was not surprised to see another review stating the same problem I'm having. I was surprised to see people defending them though. They must work for Pure Brew. Instead of defending your product, make it better. 09/29/2013
