Affordable, durable and attractive. I had been looking for a cheese slicer that was large enough to accommodate a 5# block of cheese and this is it! Not only is it large enough but it's not too large to leave out on display. Probably the best cheese slicer I have owned. It was affordable, durable and attractive. Plus it's easy to clean and the rubber feet make it easy to use without sliding on wood, granite or stainless steel surfaces. Excellent gift idea! 12/14/2011
looks nice, but does not meet the cheese After 2 uses it just would not slice. i hand washed but. the cutter was not cutting at all 06/21/2011
It will not cut a hard sharp chedar cleanly. The cutter requires an option that brings the cutting wire forward and then while pushing down you can push it back.The cleaning was difficult as the bamboo is not dishwasher safe. 07/27/2011
