It's a hot air popper. It pops however much you put in, in batches. Having had mine awhile now I would say to let it cool down a bit every couple batches.

One batch feeds two people. It gets extremely hot; has to cool off before you are able to touch it.

It does pop enough to feed 2 -3 adults. You must wait for it to cool down (quite awhile) before you can use again. (The one downfall of this product.)

One half cup, the size of the measuring cup, is enough for two. You can keep popping more if you have need to. You don't need to get it hot again. Just put more kernels in and they'll start popping in about a minute or two.

One half cup of unpopped corn will give you 3-5 quarts of popped corn. Before popping another batch you should wait 15 minutes in between batches.

I've only done 2 sets which is good enough for about 8 -10 people.I dont suspect it willl overheat for a party...it did fine for me..

It will all depend on how much they eat. We make repeated batches until we have what we want. Actually, the second batch and beyond are quicker as it is already hot. It will shut down if it gets too hot - then you need to wait for it to cool before starting it again.

One batch is maybe for about 4 people. I haven't tried more than one batch in a row. It says it has a built in safety switch that automatically shuts the machine off if it overheats.

I would say each popping would feed six but it does not take very long to pop another batch. You can use it right away.

Obviously, it would depend upon portion size. I have made enough for a 11 person crowd without waiting for cool down time. It makes enough at one time for about 2-4 servings.

NO. This will not feed 20 people. I suggest you buy a much larger unit than this one. This will feed 1 to 2 people. Whatever you buy, I suggest you buy the low cost insurance that is offered with it.

This is a Presto hot air popper. I was a little confused when I watched the video clip for this product because the Orville Redenbacher emblem is shown, however, the one I purchased reads Presto on the front.

The brand is Presto but on the box it say Orville Redenbacher because there is a coupon included in the box to save on Orville Redenbacher kernel.
