This grill can do pretty much anything. We've done sandwiches and chicken breasts, but it could easily handle bacon, eggs, hot cakes, etc.

not only for eggs, hot cakes and bacon, cut up the meats and poltry, if your making hamburger or turkeyburger it will work find, even chicken breast. have done that on my old griddle they were well done. an sure this griddle works the same....

I use it for meats also but Ihave not tried poltry.

You can cook anything on it. It can be treated just like a large pan. So you can pan fry steaks or cook chicken breasts. The only thing you can't cook is something that you would want to keep the juices because they will drip into the drip cacther.

Anything you can cook in a frying pan you can cook on this griddle, only with a larger space available.

We cook everything on it! Hamburgers, steak, chicken breast, etc.

You can cook everything on this surface, steak, pork, (chicken takes longer). Did steak 'n cheese for subs came out great. T-bone steak same results. French toast, bacon eggs, ect. LOVE IT.

I have cooked steaks, sausages both round and patties. Chicken, I've done breast fillets and breaded chicken steaks but not drum sticks or quarter chicken. These I would do in a high rimed skillet for southern chicken,etc. I also do grilled vegetables, grilled cheese sandwiches, Monty Cristo sandwiches,hash browns,hamburgers,hamburger buns(browning) hot dog buns(browning) pork chops, ham steaks, pork or chicken cutlets,etc.

No. Even if it fit in your dishwasher, the attached electrical components should not be submitted to the dishwasher

No. It has electrical componets. It is easy to wash by hand anyway.

It's immersible, but not dishwasher safe.

Remove the controller/electrical cord and it's fully submersible and dishwasher safe. We've washed it in the dishwasher after making a greasy mess cooking a whole package of bacon. No problem.

According to the instructions--"HAND WASH ONLY"

It's rather large for a dishwasher, but it can be done so long as you remove the power cord connector. It cleans up fast a easy in the kitchen sink,too

From what I measured it is 17inches deep and 24 inches wide (at the front and 23inches at the back). The cooking surface is a bit smaller than that.

if you're having a hard time "imagining" the size... think hot-lunch tray from work/school It's about that big. Fits 5 BIG (nearly plate sized) pancakes if organized like the #5 on a dice.

I just measured mine. It's 23 x 16.5, so I think both those measurements are off. Also FYI. the cooking surface is approx 19" x 14".

Using my tape measure to actually measure our grill, I came up with 23x16 3/4x3

For storage purposes, the unit measures approximately 23-1/4" x 17-1/4". The griddle area (cooking surface) measures approximately 18-3/4" x 15"

The cooking surface is 14 x 19 at its widest part. The dimensions listed include the protruding handles and tray. The Walmart dimensions are the dimensions I just measured. The unit is not perfectly square so I've measured at the widest point in both directions. Perhaps the Amazon dimensions include the box?

The actual cooking surface is 19"X15". It is the biggest you can buy and it has a drain tray also. Works great

This is actual griddle working area which is 309 square inches. That's a lot of surface area for a home griddle, bigger than most that are 209 sq.inches.

What are the dimensions of this product? On Amazon, it is listed as 24 x 18 1/2. Walmart lists it as 23 x 17 1/4
