Just what I wanted Before purchasing this, I had an ordinary fm transmitter that plugged in, it didn't charge my iPod and it didn't hold it so I just had to set it on the dashboard. I eventually bought a holder for the iPod, but then I had too much clutter and cords from a car charger, fm transmitter, holder....I do not like clutter! So I decided to try this product, since it keeps my iPod charged, holds it steady, and produces great sound quality, all in one, just as the description of this product states! Not suitable for all cars I drive a Honda Accord and this does not work correctly in my cigarette lighter. My lighter has a cover over it and the post does not bend enough to allow this to fit in nicely. I really have to force it in and then sometimes the little blue light goes off when I hit a bump. It works nicely in my husband's truck. Sound quality is good, really like how it works, just not in my car. Be sure to think about what your lighter looks like and where it is located before purchasing. I will be returning it this weekend. We had an itrip device and it worked great with our ipod and we moved it between all of our cars with no problems. It did recently break (after 3 years) and with all the good reviews I decided to try something new. I think I'll go back to my itrip. 05/17/2012
