Prago Weston Heavy-Duty Electric Meat Grinder 4.7 5 49 53
Must Have! Love, Love, Love it! How did I go so long without it? I read all the reviews on lots of different models and am so glad I went with this one. And guess what Walmart sells it for less than the other place. We bough a huge chunk of pork shoulder and some beef chuck roll and ground each and freezed them. We've had hamburgers, meatballs and a meatloaf and still have more than half to go. It's going to last a Long time. Plus it's So much leaner than the grocery stores, when you trim the meat yourself. Haven't made sausage yet, but can't wait. You'll want to have an extra freezer so you can "play" with your new toy. 02/25/2012
Great for grinding chicken with bone After failure with another brand, I went with this one based on others review. I used this grinder for the first time on Wed. 1/11/12 and so far so good. It reminds me of my old grinder that my son broke. Works very well for grinding my bulldog's chicken. It didn't clog or anything. A bit nosy, but worth it. OOo the back of the feed screw is plastic and not metal, so be aware of that. Thus far no complaints. 01/14/2012
Great product for the money! I depend largely on others' reviews for online purchases. Therefore, we purchased this one & were not sorry. We ran this machine for about 4 hours almost straight making deer sausage and hamburger, stopping long enough to put ingredients together. Even when toward the end (we were getting worn out), some of the meat thawed some, the machine did not stop up. Loud? Yes. Being our first, the noise factor was not something we could measure, but what can you expect when you're making food and it wasn't bothersome. Just part of the process. Fairly easy cleanup, but nothing is recommended for the dishwasher as some reviews said could be done & immediate drying of the parts is recommended. 01/13/2012
Great buy for the money...so far Thus far the grinder has performed well. I put about 15 pounds of 1 inch cubed venison through it. It tore through everything pretty quickly. I was careful not to put too much tendon etc. through as this grinder has plastic gears, but the tendon that went through was handled well by the machine, no stoppages or cause for concern. For a budget, occassional-use grinder, this one seems to work just fine. 11/28/2011
