Rated 4 out of 5★ by unfaithfulsfan Useful little doo-dad I received a used MIDI/USB piano keyboard for my birthday. It is designed to communicate and power via USB. The connection on the back of the keyboard, however, had a problem and would not maintain the power or data connection. So I started looking around for a power adapter. The keyboard requires 9V 300mA and this unit has multiple voltage voltage settings as well as the ability to switch polarity as needed. It has more than enough amperage for my needs - claiming up to 1330 mA (If memory serves). In addition, it has multiple connectors that swap out easily so it will work with myriad devices.Having had it for several weeks now with no problems, I actually had to look at it again for this review and noticed it also has a USB connector for charging phones and powering other USB devices. If you're looking for a reliable power supply for DC applications, this one will fit the bill. My only only "negative" is it's a little pricey but aside from that it's an awesome little adapter. I recommend it highly. 10/07/2011
Rated 5 out of 5★ by MyReview100 It works ! All the right adapters and USB. My biggest concern was to get the polarity right. The instructions cover the polarity problem nicely. And a switch on the side makes it easy to do. 04/13/2012
Rated 5 out of 5★ by MOMofjnd MUST HAVE I also bought this specifically for my Golds Gym PowerSpin230 Recumbent Bike, and have ended up using it for some of my children's games that I was feeding batteries into every few times they used it. Also for their keyboards. It has come in very handy so I have gotten my money's worth and then some! You can chose what Voltage you need and which tip will fit and I haven't had one thing that it hasn't worked for yet, I have had it for over 2 years. 01/10/2013
Rated 1 out of 5★ by ejdutgwgq I Am Not A Gambler I lost the electrical wire to an old and very good Boston Digital BA735 computer subwoofer and speakers I have had for a long time. So I ordered this so that I could use them again. But it is a question of polarity. If I don't get the polarity correct (+ or -), apparently the speakers are destroyed. Since they are old speakers, I have no way of knowing the polarity. All it says on the subwoofer is "12V AC/DC." There is no indication at the insert point of the subwoofer that the power is + or - , like the instructions say it should. I have a 50/50 chance of getting it right or ruining the speakers. Maybe "12V AC/DC" means it accepts both + and -. I don't know and I have no way of finding it out.So unless you understand these things, or your device tells your + or -, or you like to gamble, this adapter is not for you. Not for me either. 09/25/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by tedc1978 Nice Functionality for the Price Purchased a total of three of these to power VoIP phones for our remote workers. This adapter was considerably cheaper than the vendor's own model, and it also was a bit less expensive than comparable adapters available elsewhere. Though we don't use it, the USB option is a nice extra that you don't typically see on universal adapters. I can't speak to long-term reliability because we haven't owned them for long, but I don't have concerns about it. 11/04/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by CWillis1964 Exactly what I needed Recently bought an xRocker gaming chair, and while the chair comes with an AC adapter, the wireless transmitter does not. Needed this to eliminate constantly feeding the transmitter batteries. 11/29/2013
