Rated 5 out of 5★ by ComfortTX Excellent valance I usually make my own valances because they are cheaper to make if you use flat sheets for the fabric. Plus store bought curtains usually look cheap unless you spend a lot of money. I bought these on a whim to see how they looked. WOW. They are the same pattern I use to make mine. The fabric is slightly stiff but that is a plus as far as I'm concerned. With the stiff fabric they stay poofed when you poof them. If they were less stiff they wouldn't poof and they would just hang there flat. If you want them to really balloon - just insert tissue paper in them and they will really balloon out. I highly recommend these. I just wish they had more patterns. I will definitely be buying more. I wish I had found these before I spent hours and hours sewing my other valances. They are definitely worth buying. Hint - use the 2 1/2 or 3 inch valance rods. It really makes them stand out. 10/27/2011
Rated 4 out of 5★ by lprinci Nice, inexpensive valance i bought these just yesterday at the local walmart. i must say for under $5 they are pretty nice! (we all know the crazy prices of curtains) They are a little stiff (which is why i only gave them 4 instead of 5 stars) but i plan on washing/drying them and i bet they'll soften right up. great value! 10/24/2011
Rated 5 out of 5★ by mightymom44 GREAT value for the money! I have recently been looking EVERYWHERE for solid black valances with a 2 1/2 inch rod pocket (all seem to just work with a 1" decorator rod). These look awesome in my bedroom and a great product for under $5.00 each! 03/25/2012
Rated 4 out of 5★ by AMF984 Great buy! After moving into a new house, getting window treatments is definitly expensive. I have been on the hunt for valances for my kitchen and office. I didn't want to spend a ton of money (though with curtains that is usually the case!) I happen to stumble upon these in Walmart and was pleasantly surprised for $5 you can not beat it! I will agree they are a little stiff but covering 8 windows for less than $50 is a great deal. Definitly worth buying and just iron them and they unwrinkle and soften up. 10/19/2012
