Rated 5 out of 5 by PJWolfer Before American Pie there was Porky's Porky's was arguably the best of the 80s teen comedies (especially when you consider its competition was films like H.O.T.S., Private Resort and Screwballs) and it paved the way for more recent movies such as the American Pie films. It has aged pretty well over the years and I still laughed -- loudly -- at all the set pieces. It just does a great job of capturing what it's like to be a high school student extremely well. Amid the laughs, it also has some good things to say about prejudice as well. One thing I've noticed about a lot of 70s and 80s flicks is the inclusion of a lot of material that would be considered politically incorrect by today's standards. There are things in Porky's that would never make it to the screen today. Also, the amount of nudity in the film is quite impressive. It's noteworthy that the ratio of male nudity to female nudity approaches 1:1. If you want a laugh-out-loud teen comedy, head over to Porky's. 01/31/2013
