You can train at the right intensity by setting personal targets automatically or manually. The wireless heart rate monitor watch lets you know the heart rate in beats per minute. You can access the speed and distance data by optional GPS or Footpod device. It provides lap, trip, and total distance covered. When the Hearttouch button is set to ON, you can access all the information related training session without any button press. You can deactivate the training computer buttons using the KeyLock button to avoid any distractions during training. You will get to know the calories burned with this Polar sport heart rate monitor. The visual and audible alarm indicates when you are out of the preset target zones. You can easily view the values with the backlit function. Being water- resistant to 50m, the accurate heart rate monitor is ideal for swimmers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Waterfox Helpful Health Product I find this to be a very useful product. Having had major surgery in the not so distant past, this product allows me to maintain a healthy heart rate range (no worry about over doing it) while exercising. The treadmill and elliptical that I routinely use, pick up the monitors signal and display it on their screen. That helps because I do not wear my eyeglasses when in the gym.On the down side, the instructions for its use are a bit sketchy, but you can figure everything out with some practice. 02/23/2010

I thought it would be good because of the backlight and battery replacement features. I can't see the watch face in the dark with the backlight. And, I'll never use the other features. 06/18/2011

Once I got the product and set it up, I was disappointed at the interface. For an expensive, well rated Heart Rate Monitor the interface felt cheap and way out of date. My goal for this product was to easily track my workouts for heart rate and calories burned, among a few other features. But this product is difficult to see the calories burned and the font is small. I ended up returning this product and going with a cheaper version, which ended up being much better, more updated and does what I want.Don't waste your money on this product. 01/21/2013
