Item Description

The Pokemon White Version game and Black Version game feature new Pokemon that players can catch, train and battle as they progress through the Pokemon game, and some Pokemon can only be caught in one version of the game. For example, the Legendary Pokemon Reshiram can only be caught in the Pokemon Black Version game, while the Legendary Pokemon Zekrom can only be caught in Pokemon White Version game. Additionally, the two games feature different areas for the first time in the series, with the game world of Pokemon Black Version featuring a unique metropolitan area called Black City, and a lush, green area named White Forest only found in Pokemon White Version. The Pokemon Black Version game and Pokemon White Version also mark the first time in a Pokemon video game that the seasons will change in the game world. Certain Pokemon appear more frequently during different seasons, and players can only access some areas during a specific season.

Pokemon White Version Game for DS:

  • In battle, there are two further methods of battle; Triple Battle & Rotation Battles. Both of which have you send out three Pokemon at once in order to battle with varying mechanics within it.
  • In local wireless and over Wi-Fi, there is also the Miracle Shooter which is a function that allows you to use items during battle, but at a cost. In battles, the camera is also dynamic, zooming in and out on the Pokemon while they move in a variety of animations
  • Much like how Gold & Silver introduced the concept of the Day/Night cycle, Pokemon Black & White introduce the concept of Seasons. These seasons change a variety of factors including Wild Pokemon, location aesthetics and even the background music. The seasons rotate at the start of every month so you don't need to wait long until the next one.
  • The games also introduce a variety of new multiplayer aspects including the Live Caster, a DSi & 3DS exclusive feature, that allows for video chat with you and your friends.
  • The Nintendo video games can now connect to the Internet for access to a site called the Pokemon Global Link.
  • The games also have the High Link feature which has you visit a friend's game and complete certain missions in order to get various power ups which last a short time in the main game.
  • The game's story features you having to stop Team Plasma, a team who, unlike previous teams, want to do good and intend to stop what they perceive the slavery of Pokemon caused by trainers. In addition to this, you also have to travel the region in order to get 8 badges once more.

Pokemon Black and White Versions Hello!I know my nickname says "ThePerfectNarutoRater", but i'm going to leave a review on Pokemon White. This Will Be The Best Review Covering The Game In Nice Sections! This Cover The Basics of Everything. There Are Still Alot of Things You Will Be Able To Discover After All Of This.Certain Pokemon:Pokemon Black and White are somewhat the same, except you get Reshiam in Pokemon Black, and Zekrom in Pokemon White. You can not get the other Pokemon in one game. What I mean is, if you get Pokemon White like me, you can not get Reshiam from Pokemon Black unless you use the GTS (Global Trade Station) to obtain the Pokemon.Time Change and Seasons:Pokemon Black and White versions were the first Nintendo DSi game to be 3D. Just like the other Nintendo DSi game of Pokemon (Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, and SoulSilver) they follow the time in our world. But now Pokemon Black and White not only follow our time, but they also included seasons. A new season happens every month, if you get the game in March (like I did) then it would be Autumn, then in April it would Winter, ect.Rivals:With the changing of seasons, you can only face certain trainers and Pokemon during each season. Also, you have Two childhood friends who are your rivals in this game, you will encounter them countless times. There is a boy and and a girl. The boy's name is Cheren, whatever starter pokemon you choose, he will choose your weakness. The girl, her name is Bianica. She will choose your strength. Cheren you will face more time then Bianica. Cheren also uses the most potions in battle. The Professor:This happens to be the First Pokemon game which the Professor is a girl. Who will encounter her several times throughout the game as well.Pokemon Battles:The graphics and Pokemon during battle are amazing. It's also the first Pokemon game where you can see the Pokemon move and breathe in battle. Also, if you get put to sleep, you can see the Pokemon close their eyes. If poisoned then they turn purple (also outside of battle, the poison will Not effect you when you walk), a Burn Status will turn you into a red color, and a Paralyze will turn you Yellow, ect. When you are low on health (in red), the music will change, the music is called "In A Pinch".Gym Leaders:The gym leaders are somewhat a challenge if your not prepared. The last gym leader, or the 8th Gym, for Pokemon Black you'll be facing Drayden. In Pokemon White, you'll be facing Iris. When your on Any Gym Leaders last Pokemon, then the music will change as well. They also brought back the feature where if you rub your Gym Badges, they will shine.Entralink and the Xtransiever:The Entralink is a place where you can enter another world, or right in the middle of the Unova Region where you can't get by walking or flying. If anybody near you is in one of the eight surrounding cities of the Entralink, then you can warp to their world and help with missions. The Xtransiever allows people with DSi's or DSi XL's to have a video chat up to four people. The C-Gear:The C-Gear is a Unique feature added to the game which you will get after you defeat the 1st Gym Leader. It can use InferRed technology to Instantly Battle, Trade, Feeling Check, or exchange Friend Codes. The Feeling Check is actually a cool thing to do with people near you, it will tell you how close you are to the person, and if you get a Rank C or higher, you will get a "Sweet Heart" which will restor 20 Hit Points, or you can exchange them for a Heart Scale and then you can use them to learn old moves you got rid of.The C-Gear comes with Wi-Fi as well. On March 30th, they will update the Wi-Fi settings so you can click on "Game Sync" to enter the Dream World. If you enter the Dream World, if one of your Pokemon are having a dream about another Pokemon, then if you enter the Entralink and go to the forrest, then whatever Pokemon your Pokemon was dreaming of, will show up in the forest in the Entralink. (Example: If your Pokemon is dreaming about Dialga, then Dialga will show up in the Entralink Forest).Next, the C-Gear comes with Wireless communications, there you will be able to check if anybody is in the Union Room, the Wi-Fi Club, or you can check if anybody else is near you. (The Union room and Wi-Fi Club are located in the Pokemon Center).Another feature is you can take Surveys from friends by clicking on the Colorful button located in the Lower-Left Hand Corner of the C-Gear. Right beside that, there will be a bar. If you click that, then you can check for anybody near you. And you will recieve Everything someone is doing. It will tell you where they are, trainers they are battling, items they bought or found, when they fainted, when they have low HP, or won a battle. You can also chat with them through that way as well. The final thing is you can customize the C-Gear anyway you want to.The Mysterious N, Team Plasma, and the Seven Sages:Team Plasma is a new team who is going to try everything they can to make the trainers free their Pokemon. And N, is also another Rival you will face and encounter many times in the game. Everytime you battle, he is stronger, and uses different Pokemon each time. He would love to become the Champion so he can make everybody free their Pokemon. The Seven Sages are actually the leaders of Team Plasma who want the legendary Pokemon. (I will not tell you everything about this section). The Elite Four, Champion, and After Story:The Champion, his name is Alder. You will run into him a few times throughout the game. The Elite Four you face for the first time, there Pokemon Levels are Lv. 45 and up. You can face them in any order you desire. When you beat them, you can go to the Champion..only to find out a terrible thing. (I will not say anything). After you beat everything after the Elite Four, it will go to ending credits. BUT, you didn't beat the game. You Never faced the Champion. When you face the Elite Four the second time, their level of Pokemon are Lv. 75 and up.The After Story everything else in the game is unlocked and you will obtain the National Dex.*SPOILER ALERT, READ WITH CAUTION:After defeating the Elite Four the first time, you can go to the Three Cities that you were not able to go to before you faced the Elite Four. You will be able to face the Former Champion Cynthia from Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum. Her Pokemon are also Lv. 75 and up. You can face her once! But, when it's the seasons of Summer and Spring, you can face her anytime throughout that time.If you go to Celestia City after defeating the Elite Four the first time, you can enter a building and go to the 22nd Floor. There you will where Game Freak works, you can talk to the guy there with Blue Hair and he will turn on the Team Rocket music from SoulSilver and HeartGold. If you talk to the guy in the green shirt and blonde hair, that is Game Freak. You will be able to face GameFreak whenever you want. His Level of Pokemon are Lv. 75 and up. 03/20/2011
Another chance to "catch'em all" Granted, its a lot harder to "catch'em all" than it used to be (we're up to 646 Pokemon!), but that doesn't make the experience any less engaging. Pokemon Black/White is another chapter in the Pokemon series and it doesn't fail to impress. 03/22/2011
kid loves it! My 9 yr old son loves this game, and would play it 24 7 if we let him. 03/28/2011
A nice reboot The game is buffed up graphically as with any new game in the series. The game at its core is the same as the past games with tweaks here and there. The nice thing about this game though is it forces you to use a completely different set of pokemon. No oldys untill after the elite four. They did this to expand the experience. New moves and new abilitys. Another nice thing is the dreamword. Alot of people who own the game are woundering what is the dreamworld? Well it dosen't start till the 30th state side. Its on the pokemon main site and it allows you to get new pokemon and pokemon with unique abilitys not found in game. of course people who like compatitions will like this game. This game will be able to support online tournaments unlike ANY of the previous pokemon. (unless you where one of those few people on forums who set them up there) 03/18/2011
