About this item

"Poison Ivy" Triple Feature includes "Poison Ivy" - Ivy (Drew Barrymore, "Ever After," "The Wedding Singer") the sexy, streetwise new girl in a posh private school, will do anything to fit in. Sylvie (Sara Gilbert, TV's "Roseanne") rich, smart, but misunderstood-needs a friend. When Ivy is invited into Sylvie's privileged world, she is instantly intrigued. Sylvie's father (Tom Skerritt, "The Other Sister," "Contact") is a handsome TV newscaster; her mother (Cheryl Ladd, "Permanent Midnight," TV's "Charlie's Angels") is a beautiful Beverly Hills wife. Yet tensions in the home run deep - providing a license for malice that Ivy is quick to seize. With one slick seduction, Ivy sets off a chain reaction that makes "Poison Ivy" one of the most provocative and erotic thrillers ever filmed. "Poison Ivy 2: Lily" - Lily (Alyssa Milano "Charmed," "Melrose Place," "Embrace Of The Vampire") is just the average new girl at school until she discovers an old diary containing Ivy's deepest darkest secrets. The more she reads, the more she becomes lured into Ivy's world - a world of seductions and powerplays - until she herself becomes the uninhibited risk-taker she has always dreamt of being. But when a dangerous affair with her married professor (Xander Berkeley "Airforce One," "Gattaca") spirals out of control, Lily becomes involved in a chilling series of events that makes "Poison Ivy 2: Lily" as provocative an erotic thriller as the original. Also starring Johnathon Schaech ("Hush," "That Thing You Do"). "Poison Ivy 3: The New Seduction" - The quiet home of a suburban family is suddenly destroyed when Ivy's beautiful but evil sister Violet returns to her childhood home and shatters the life of her former best friend Joy. Using her unbridled sexuality as a weapon, she seduces both Joy's father and fiancee . No deception is too treacherous, no seduction too dangerous, and no crime to heinous for this twisted temptress, whose young life was torn apart by an ill-fated affair between her mother and Joy's father. Introducing sexy newcomers Jaime Pressly ("Ringmaster)" and Megan Edward, "Poison Ivy: The New Seduction" is a steamy, pulse-pounding erotic thriller that continues the same provocative and chilling tradition of "Poison Ivy" and "Poison Ivy 2: Lily".

Ivy's new 'home'

Customer review by Fraurisa

I tried to buy the original Poison Ivy from another site and they messed it up --twice. They kept sending a me a sequel with actors I've never heard of and didn't want. I got to wish the lady at the post office a happy retirement--one good thing. I called the site and said to the sales rep."Don't you know who Drew Barrymore is? Elite acting family, been doing movies since she was a toddler?" He says "HUH?" I cancelled the ordered and checked the Walmart site. I didn't get the single Poison Ivy (movie) I wanted but more than close enough. This movie was kind of 'small' when it came out--I don't remember much build up--like it was competing with Blockbuster of the Summer Part 2 or something. Mostly I remember people talking about it like it was the modern version of the 'theme'---Lolita. Not the remake of Lolita. Ivy can sense weakness in a wealthy seemingly stable family. She meets Sara Gilbert at school and her new friend confirms everything she hopes. How simple it would be to 'move in' on a vunerable family with a dying mother, a confused teenager and a very lonely husband.Drew Barrymore is just gorgeous--who could do thick black roots on home dye bleach and lips like wasp stings.? Not to mention the 'hand me down' wardrobe that gets altered by Cheryl Ladd's same size designer clothes. This is a well made movie with good actors and a neat script. Its interesting and you never know if Ivy intentions were once pure not poison? The other movies are alright-they were made with quality and nice scenery if you know what I mean. They don't look like they were staged in someone's basement. All in all a great value for a few hours of entertainment and the movie I got---Thanks Walmart. There is some very, very minor editing in Poison Ivy but nothing that effects the plot and no not what you're thinking. Thank you!
