Asboutly Not! Do not use this product if you are allergic to any type of nuts! Look at the ingredients listed above. States that this product was made in a facility that handles milk and peanuts.

Here is a problem... I have vanilla and chocolate flavors of this brand of almond bark. Contrary to the information listed here, the packages DO NOT have a statement about being packaged in a facility which also handles milk and peanuts. I just went to the Log House Foods website, but it is somewhat under construction. I think I will call the company tomorrow and find out more.

I would heat it in a double boiler over low heat.  If it won&#39;t melt or coat your candy, it&#39;s too old.  I often times freeze bars of this product and use it way past date on package.

Yes, it does set up hard or I rather use the word solid rather than hard. I cover pretzels, the &quot;Trash Mix&quot; I make using all kinds of nuts, cereals, pretzels, dried cranberries, etc. I use small amount of colored cereal for color as in Fruit Loops. Can use red/green M&amp;Ms during the Holidays. Place on cookie pans lined with wax paper and it &quot;sets up&quot; quick to break or separate.
Makes nice gifts for shut ins or take to parties.

Will this Almond Bark set up hard or what. Never used this before. I live in a very hot country..

I&#39;ve used the paste colors with no problem to color the Almond Bark. As for the tax, if you&#39;re referring to sales tax, it really depends where you buy the product. Each city has their own set tax amount, so the tax amounts vary from city to city.

What is the tax on this product also if i add gel or paste color will it seize up?

I have not used almond bark before but found a recipe for peanut clusters that you make in the crockpot. This almond bark worked great in this recipe. I will definitely use it again.

Good product

Where is this chocolate for baking and covering pretzels cake pops and such. This product melts perfect in the microwave and coats very well. It's so good on pretzels. It holds sprinkles as well.

I have always used Plymouth Pantry Almond Bark Vanilla Baking Bar for my baking projects. I made white chocolate covered Oreo Pops for a bake sale and every one of them were purchased. When you melt the entire package, if you add 1 TBS of cooking oil the almond bark once it has melted, it has a shinny gloss and doesn't alter the taste of the product. I always keep a couple of packages of the Almond Bark in my pantry, because I always use it for my sweet treats.

I dip Snyder's mini Twist pretzels and gift them for Christmas.  I get a lot of smiles.  Melt it over low heat and dip 2/3 of each pretzel.  Place in pretty bags and twist tie shut.   Deliver.

I made various candies with this for Christmas, and it all turned out wonderfully. Everyone raved about the candies, and they all disappeared quickly. It melted down nicely without burning, stayed consistant all through the dipping process, and can even be allowed to harden up at room temperature and melted down again another day. I did add a teaspoon or so of vegetable shortening to thin it down a bit for easier application. I've tried various products for dipping, and this one is the best so far. I will be buying this again for Easter candy.

This almond Bark is "GREAT" ! it is easy to work with and very smooth. Everyone love my Bark. I have tryed other vanilla chips etc. but none can compare to this Brand. I highly reccomend to everyone. BE VERY CAREFUL when purchasing this item. It came in TWO DIFFERENT COLOR PACKAGES. One package was bright blue and the almond bark was very good to use and pure white in color. The othe package was light blue and was not pure white. When heated, the bark in the light blue package, had a fleshy color which is not visually appealing. Especially when you need a pure white bark. I tried using it with  peanut butter and chocolate thinking the color wouldn't matter but the bark stayed tacky feeling. I go through a couple dozen packages of this almond bark (white chocolate) and will be very careful in the future to make sure I do not get any light blue packages and if that is all the company is packing I will have look for another supplier because I will not buy inferior product. If you look at the image attached to this review you will see that one is white (came out of the bright blue package and one is yellowish (came out of the light blue package).
