Super Santa Suit The suit was well made, far exceeding my expectations. 12/24/2008
Santa was a HIT!!! Don't hesitate to purchase this suit! It is well made, comfortable and quality fabric. The guests hinted that we probably paid big $$ to rent this suit and were surprised when I told them otherwise.Suggestion:After unpacking the suit, hang it all up and if possible, use a garment/fabric steamer to the inside of the fabric to remove creases & wrinkles. I even used the steamer on the vinyl belt and boot covers to soften and make them more pliable and convincing. After I steamed it all, even the hat, I used a soft brush to fluff it up. This gives the suit a more "real" look rather than a "fresh out of the box" feel with packing folds and lines. If you don't have a steamer, you might try putting it into a clothes dryer on a warm setting with a damp washcloth or towel. You can also use a hair dryer on a warm setting on the belt and boot covers to get out the folds and bends. White gloves do not come with the suit and we forgot to get some, but no one noticed! We had no trouble with the beard being loose, but you could easily add some elastic string from "ear to ear" and tie them, hiding this under the wig, for reinforcement. The belt is quite large, but a nice big pillow made up for that. If this is a problem, a quick fix might be to take in a bit of it near the buckle, fold it over and staple up a bit. This should be hidden once the belt is fastened.Before storing I'll toss it in the dryer with a damp cloth and store it in a zippered bag with some fabric softener sheets to make it smell nice. It's dry clean only, but shouldn't need a serious cleaning for a while.This Santa suit was well worth the price and made our Christmas party one of the best memories ever! Very impressive! Mostly As Expected The beard doesn't stay up real well, so I'll probably end up using some kind of tape to keep it on my lip, and the coat is a little short (although I'm 6'5"). The belt is insanely big which I don't quite understand, but I guess it leaves room for serious stuffing. The pants are short but they are designed that way to only reach down to the boot tops, which is fine. The hat is a little small for me, but I have a pretty large head and it still fits ok over the wig. I'm very happy with the wig, I think it looks great, and the beard is very long which is nice also.Even though it sounds like I'm picking it apart, overall, this Santa Suit will work perfect. 10/29/2009
Great suite for the price The suite is very nice for the price, it is totally lined which is a sign of quality. I unpacked it as soon as I got it to inspect it and make sure it was all there which it was. I also hung it up to "fluff". plus I turned the spats inside out & hung them up too so maybe the creases in them will fall out.I found some reader glasses at a second hand shop and I'm in the hunt for some gloves. Hopefully I'll have it all ready to go by December.I wish Wal-Mart offered a padding for the outfit, it needs it. 10/09/2011
