Perfect fit for any standard 1 3/4" bathtub faucet

After reading other reviews I was surprised that this product fit and worked as well as it did. I did take heed to not turn the water on full blast. The water pressure is perfect for rinsing out shampoo quickly and thoroughly just like a regular shower head. You do have to make sure the fit is tight and push hard as far as you can onto the faucet for best results. I had a problem taking it off the first time because it stayed on so well. You have to twist and pull with some force if it's on there correctly. Rated the durability as average since I have no idea how well or long it will last. But for the price if it lasts more than a year it's a great deal. Beats trying to stick your head under the tub faucet to rinse out shampoo or hopping into a separate shower after a bath. Should work amazingly for bathing large dogs as well, as long as it's secured properly and the faucet is about 1 3/4" on the outside edge of the spout.

This product does exactly what it says it does. It is great for a tub to shower conversion with out getting into the plumbing. You do have to keep the water pressure low when using it. If you turn on the water at full speed, it will just shoot the nozzel off the tub spout. Water everywhere. So it works great as long as you steadily turn the water on.

For heavens sake, why does the manufacturer not distribute a simple hose clamp to secure this to the tub spout. They make great plastic ones for above ground pool pump connections....duh... Try to use this product with anywhere near the norm for water pressure and it promptly is forced off the spout and sprays water all over the bathroom in the process. Might add two or three cents to the overall cost of production.

    • this item is made for a larger tub faucet opening-- other sizes are sold but with so many faucet styles and designs you will probably always get leaks and spraying at he faucet opening---lol or just lay a wash cloth or towel over that! and make due.

    • You can but will need to purchase the smaller connection that attaches to the faucet or they also sell those for sinks.

    • Maybe. Look for the different type of connectors available on the back of the package card and order it thru Waxman Consumer Products, www.waxmancpg.com

    • Sure, if you have a very large faucet opening, which typically isn't standard. If you're not sure, you'll really just have to take a shot in the dark and try it to tell.

    • Not unless it looks like a standard bathtub faucet. They make one designed specifically for sink faucets. And it's a little less expensive.

    • Probably not, it's designed for a tub faucet that's over an inch in diameter.

    • It SHOULD fit ANY faucet that does not have a diverter.

    • Yes, as long as your sink faucet is big enough. If not water will spray out of the sides and leak everywhere. I would say your fauct needs to be at least 3 inches in diameter.

I am currently living in a mobile home and the shower doesn't work and I can't afford a plumber. I need something to attach to the tub faucet which is square but the back side of the faucet is fairly short (about 1/4"). Will this product work for me??

    • It should fit because once you put it on the faucet, it seals itself tight around the faucet,

    • yes it will....but as i said before you cant turn the water on full force....but youll find a happy medium!

    • it should work-- with your limited options-- just slide it on and duct or electrical tape it in place..if that works ok then you could use silicone to attach it better---but it must dry thoroughly [1-2 days] before use. the silicone can always be scraped off later if necessary. hot water will loosen the tape too so plan to patch often until you fix the problem right.

    • It should. I have a square tub faucet, too, and it fits very well. It does leak a little bit when water is at full pressure. I think you will like the bracket that lets you position it like any other shower or you can hold it in your hand.

    • It fits perfectly :) It helps to immerse the tub spout connector in some hot water and then push it over the spout .. It seals it perfectly
