I'm sure it would. I have a 7mm Weatherby with a variable power scope and a pretty good sized sling in my case and there is room to spare.

The case is not wide enough to hold a rifle with attached scope. It may hold the rifle by itself, though.

It should, I have a Marlin Model 60 22LR with a scope and fits with no problems.

The case is 53" long.....should fit nicely.

The case is about the same size as most shotgun soft cases. It holds my Benelli shotgun fully assembled. It is not wide enough to hold a shotgun with an attached scope.

My Browning A15 12 ga fits just fine and it has a 28 inch barrel. There are several inches to spare.

If it's less than 52" overall without a pistol grip should be no problem.

I have Winchester 1300 12 ga. with 28" barrel, its 49" overall in length and it fits in there, I think your Mossberg 88 would fit in just fine! it is a good case for the price.

I had been waiting for this to be out of stock for around 2 months now finally it was in stock but as i am writing this review it is out of stock again so good luck getting it when its only been 5 days since i ordered it. I just received it yesterday the construction of it is great i stood on it and it did not buckle. it is very light and almost seemed junior size since the boxes they send it in are huge compared to the case itself. I put my remington 1100 in it and still had 2 inches to spare. Will deffinetly protect your gun is lightweight and the only downfall is that the outside of the case does scratch easily so becareful if you put it in your truck bed. overall i bought 3 of them beacuse for the price you cant beat it. seen similar cases for 30+ just keep checking to see when it comes in stock thats why i bought 3 when it was.

This case is a fantastic value. I am storing my new Mossberg 500 Combo in this case and it fits great. The plastic allows you to just throw it in the snow and mud without any worries. Holds both barrels and some ear plugs with ease. Three lock points so the kids cant slip the gun out the ends. I would highly recommend this to anyone that needs a secure weather resistant place to store a shotgun.

Perfect Case

Pretty good case, could be made a little stronger but other than that everything is good!! Great for a hunter due to the design that is on the top of the case. However I am not a hunter.

RIFLE CASE

Great value. You may need to use a little glue to hold the padding but no big deal.
Just holds my Ruger Air Hawk rifle.

Good Case for the Price

Are you looking for a Pelican quality case for next to nothing? Well keep dreaming. Regardless, this case isn't great, but isn't terrible either. The build quality is a little lacking, and I wouldn't want to slam it into anything or run it over with my car, but so long as it works properly you can't complain at this price point. We'll see how long it lasts, but for the time being it's working fine.

Picked a couple of these up for around $12 each and they work well for a couple of older shotguns. Egg crate foam inside is not the thickest but for the price they work well.

Great case for the price

You really can't beat it.

Upsides:
inexpensive
fast delivery and cheap delivery

downsides:
a touch on the flimsy side but not unreasonably so.
the egg crate foam could be a bit more substantial

The only other issue that I have with the case is NOT the case's fault but my own. I have a Savage Mark II with a scope on it. It just *barely* fits in the case (maybe a 1/4" of clearance top and bottom). Like I said: my bad for not checking the dimensions but hey! it still fits and it's $10 cheaper at WalMart than anywhere else I could find and no one offers 99 cent shipping.

For the price

I put a bolt action 22LR rifle in it, it fits well, but the bolt action lever section was a bit wider than the case so it is kind of tight to close the case. a shot gun will fit just fine as in the picture. for this price you can't go wrong with it. I just hope there is a scope-guncase around this price range.

Great product for the price

Great for the money.

I bought this case for a crosman titan gp air rifle with a mounted center point 4-16x40mm scope. I bought all the products (But the case)from my local walmart. My local walmart sells the gun and everything but cases (go figure). The rifle would not fit with the scope mounted, The case is very light duty at best. i would not buy this case for a cheap BB gun. Dont buy this case it is not worth the money paid. I will be taking it back. Please note i am not a pickey person eather...
