I was orginally looking for a Sony stereo and I happened to have my USB key with me one day. I was test driving all the stereos at Walmart and this one blew me away. Right away it was louder and had more bass than any of the other stereos that Walmart had displayed. This stereo paired with Pioneer speakes is loud as heck, level 7 will bust your ear drums. This stereo has it all. It holds 6 CD's, has a USB slot which also supports iPhones, iPads, and iPods, and bluetooth. It's also set up to work with XM radio, Sirrus, and pandora. This stereo system can also be expanded to add on features such as navigation and backup cameras. Installing was pretty simple, I actually youtubed a video on how to do an install and it was so easy that anyone could do it. This stereo paired with Pioneer speakers for my car ended up having about 800 watts vs. the 180 that I had with my stock stereo and MTX Thunders.

After researching for months and months I decided on this head unit and it is excellent! While this is indeed Pioneer's entry model, it has just the same if not more features than other brands' higher up models. The screen is brilliant, easy to see at all angels, touch screen is perfect -doesn't take too much pressure and isn't so light that you barely touch it and it changes-. The screen and background are customizable; you can upload your own photos via USB and use them as backgrounds, there are also animated backgrounds, and you can change the color of the light up buttons to a few different preset colors, or you can use the customizable color wheel to achieve whatever color you want! iPod hook up is extremely easy! I have the new 5th generation iPod Touch (with the new lightning cable) and the iPod USB plugs right into the front on the head unit and plays music right after you plug it in... the best part is that you can control the music from the head unit screen instead of having to mess with the iPod while you're driving! If you have a backup camera you can use that with this head unit. This also plays DVDs and the sound is great! Self installation took the better part of the afternoon, definitely worth doing it yourself if you know how. Hands-down the best purchase for a double din touchscreen head unit with both brand recognition and value!

I recently changed out my stock stereo for this Pioneer stereo. It was was a easy straight forward install. The sound is great, and has many features to customize the sound youre looking for. It connects right to my I-phone, and with the USB port it can be charged with ease. This is a great stereo to replace your stock unit.

I purchased a new head unit debating between this one and the Jensen they had on clearance, now i see why they were, After installing the head unit i was trying to pair my bluetooth phone to it and couldn't come up with a solution, trying to check the manual which directs you back to several different pages, and finding out in the end you have to have a separate adapter piece in order to use the feature, and after bringing back the original one i purchased thinking the first one was a fluke, "because it was randomly scanning through channels on the radio" Picked up the second one from a different walmart and same thing had happened. for a 300 dollar stereo, it should come with bluetooth.
