Pinnacle Matrix XLT Baitcast Reel 4 4
Great affordable reel! The Pinnacle Matrix reel is perfect for the value minded shopper. It is lightweight and fits in your hand perfect. The cast control is easy to adjust and works very well. After using this reel for most of the day, the only place that it is lacking is in the drag system. It is a little weak in my opinion but it was smooth. Overall this reel seems to be a great value for a reel that ranks among some $150 reels. I would recommend it to those who are looking for a inexpensive reel that has many of the same features as some of the more expensive reels. 11/30/2009
Works great for me. Purchased the Pinnacle Matrix XLT late last spring and fished the entire season for bass (at least once a week) with no problems other then a couple of birds nests which were entirely my fault due to forgetting to adjust the settings after a lure change.I used 10 lb. Vanish flurocarbon with a 6-6 med-heavy ugly stick and was more then pleased with this combo.Also bought a Daiwa baitcast last summer which cost $50 more then this reel but the Pinnacle performed much better and will be my primary reel again this year.For the price this reel exceeded my expectations. 02/12/2011

the finish on this reel was not what I thought it would be.It has already started to ware off.The reel works good, not great like I thought it would.With all the nice features on this reel I would have thought it to preform better.I still use and would tell others to try it out.Cabela's sells this same Reel but for $20.00 more. So I know its not just a cheap Walmart reel. 10/23/2010
