NICE REEL!!! RECEIVED AN EARLY CHRISTMAS PRESENT, WHAT A SURPRISE!!!! REAL SMOOTH RETRIEVE AND SMOOTH DRAG SYSTEM. CASTS GREAT ESPECIALLY LIGHT JIGS, SENKOS,ETC.. 12/31/2009
Not as good as expected I bought this reel to match with uglystik litepro. The combo is 4 oz. less the c4 mag & lighting rod, so that's good. It's for chuckin spinnerbaits only. The anti-backlash (mag & centrifical) is the most unrealiable of the 5 baitcast I use. It backlashes about 10% of the time & I've used baitcasters for 25 years. No amount of adjustment helps. There is a small lever on front that was not detailed in the instructions, so I called Pinnacle. For 2 wks. I was told they don't make this reel. Then someone woke up & said it was their reel & this lever was a quick release to change spools. I still haven't got that to work. The hi speed is much slower then expected & 35% slower the c4 mag.Also when new it had this loud squik on retrive, it took about 10 hrs. of use to stop. Other then this it's a good reel. 09/25/2009
Pinnacle Coda XLT Great casting and smooth reel. I have just on thing that bugged me a little bit, but there is an easy fix. When the reel was wet it started squeaking so I put some reel oil on and it stoped. 07/19/2010
Super Bargain I have three different models of Pinnacle bait casters, and they are all excellent. I've only used this reel once, but it casts and retrieves very smoothly. I get very long, smooth casts with Spectra (PowerPro) 50# test braid. You won't find a better reel for anywhere close to this price. 10/27/2010
