Rated 3 out of 5 by Downfall This was so great...until it broke! I used this on/off for several years. I was starting to use it more for longer periods of time. I got on it tonight and I heard a cracking sound. Apparently the pulley cable snapped. Too bad, since I love this stepper so much. It is very quiet and easy to use. The base is very solid. The handles are really only for balance to and to keep momentum while you are stepping, but they are okay.I would recommend this stepper, especially for those who weigh considerably less than the upper weight limit of 250 pounds. It is easy to move around and won't disturb others in the room if you want to use it while watching television. I have to give it 3 stars because it broke. I am seriously considering buying another one if I can't find replacement parts. 12/06/2011
