I've had a Sonicare for years and some earlier models seemed to die after a couple of years. I've only had this a month so I can't attest to the longevity but it works very well. My only issue was with Walmart's shipping service. It was shipped through some service using USPS. It was promised by a certain date and tracking information was promised. Well, tracking information didn't even start until the promised date and it arrived a week later. We were leaving for 3 months but thank god it arrived the day before we left. The shipping agent never responded to phone calls or emails and I was really fed up. IF you order from Walmart DO NOT get it shipped. The service is horrible. When they ship bigger products by UPS it's much better, but not the small products shipping by USPS because they use a middle man who is unresponsive and once you get a middle man in the mix it slows things down BIG TIME....especially this one! 12/18/2011
better than oral B models This is the best electric or sonic brush for the money. I don't see how one could perform any better. It is much better than my previous brush, an oral B. 12/05/2011
