No nicked nose This works much better than I expected, and a million times more effective than those hedge trimmer types that were on the scene originally a few years ago. Phillips seems to have not only studied those types, but vastly improved on the concept. It manages to reach deep into your nostrils Nd trim the hair flush with the skin without worry of a nick to this sensitive area. It will do the same on your ears I imagine, but I somehow managed to dodge the evolutionary ear hair gene. It cleans easily, and I recommend it. I also am a bit overprotective of my devices, and clean my grooming things well and keep it oiled and protected. I use norelco trimmer oil, also available at WalMart. 01/03/2010
