The Philips HTS3531/F7 5.1-Channel DVD Home Theater System features Dolby Digital 300W satellite and center speakers plus a passive subwoofer. This HDMI Home Theater System
can play DVDs, CDs and VCDs, and it is compatible with USB devices. With Music iLink included, the Phillips DVD Home Theater System can connect to an Apple iPod, iPhone or iPad as well as to portable MP3 players. The Philips HTS3531/F7 5.1-Channel DVD Home Theater System also features EasyLink, which lets you control all HDMI CEC devices via a single remote control.

Rated 3 out of 5 This sound system is not all that good. You can't put other speakers on it because of the speaker ports on the back. It sounds muffled and it's just a waste of money to me. My old Philips fwr8 sounds way better than this system. 01/22/2013

Rated 2 out of 5 I have to have it on maximum volume to watch anything and there is still no real bass. We initially had the DVD home theater system HTS3372D/F7. It died after about a year and half and wouldn't power up at all. We bought this thinking it was the same thing. No docking port for i-pods, and only two as opposed to five types of surround sound were very disappointing. However, not as disappointing as trying to figure out why the volume on everything is so low. The other system would drive you out of the house at a volume of 15. I have to have this one on 60 just to watch movies. What gives Philips? 05/27/2013
